What is CRY YOU ONE?

Cry You One is an outdoor performance and online storytelling platform from the heart of Louisiana’s disappearing wetlands. Pioneered by the New Orleans based companies ArtSpot Productions and Mondo Bizarro, Cry You One celebrates the people and cultures of South Louisiana while turning clear eyes on the crisis of our vanishing coast. This website is intended to: (1) Create a platform where the wisdom of people’s stories can help educate and inspire folks to get involved in the movement to save Coastal Louisiana; and (2) Promote the live performance of Cry You One that premiered in Lower St. Bernard Parish in 2013 and is now touring the country. The site features interviews, cultural snap shots and articles. Click on the Land, People and Culture links to witness stories about Louisiana as told by the people who have lived here for generations.
